Movie Review: An emotional atyachar movie

Movie Review: The Film Emotional Atyachar; Starring: Mohit Ahlawat, Kalki, Vinay Pathak, Ranvir Shorey and Ravi Kishen; Director: Akshay Shere;

Video Trailor of The Film Emotional Atyachar..

About the mOvie:

Emotional Atyachaar
Emotional Atyachar needed much more more imagination to get to be the heist-roadie film that it set out to be.

Debutante director Akshay Shere’s The Film Emotional Atyachar suspiciously sounding like the reality show about cheating couples is in fact nothing like that. It is a hilarious fun ride with multiple tracks running together but at the same time keeping the audiences engaged right till the end. It is what one can say Johnny Gaddar meets Sankat City.

The Film Emotional Atyachar

Revealing much about the plot line of this extremely unpredictable film might lose half the fun you would have while watching it. Let us just say it is about a bagful of money (Rs. 20 crore) which keeps changing hands right till the climax and the bloody battle that ensues right from grabbing it first till the end. The characters involved directly or indirectly are a businessman with a big dream played by Mohit Ahlawat, a trigger happy corrupt cop duo played by Vinay Pathak and Ranvir Shorey, a no nonsense Goa club owner (Abhimanyu Singh) and his girl friend Sophie (Kalki), a wannabe don, Junior Bhai (Ravi Kishen) and his two rookie cronies.

For a debut film, Akshay Shere has done a wonderful job of holding the complicated screenplay together and keeping it light hearted.

first half goes about in a non-linear narrative establishing the characters and their motives. After the unexpected shoot out that takes place at a pub the plot gains a momentum that continues right till the end. Hilarious one liners by Vinay and Ranvir keep you in splits and so does the track of Ravi Kishen and his two newbies. The climax however could have been more edgy. The All is Well ending takes away some bit of thrill. The dialogues by Kartik Krishnan are howlarious.

Ram Gopal Varma discovery Mohit Ahlawat is excellent and one hopes he gets better roles now. Vinay and Ranvir complement each other well and portray their grey shaded roles excellently. Abhimanyu Singh is just apt for his role while Kalki perfectly suites her part as well. Ravi Kishen is very impressive. Playing his cronies – Snehal Dhabi and Rajkumar Kanojia bring the house down with their antics. Anand Tiwari as the bumbling passerby who helps Mohit is simply superb.

The film is a worth watch for those who love to watch edgy films that offer entertainment which hatke than usual Bollywood fares.

Know about Dr-Sarvepalli-Radhakrishnan Speech

Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan - Celebrating Teacher's Day in India

"A

good teacher must know how to arouse the interest of the pupil in the field of study for which he is responsible. He must himself be a master in the field of study and be in touch with the latest developments in the subject, he must himself be a fellow traveler in the exciting pursuit of knowledge..."
- Dr. S Radhakrishen

While the world celebrates international Teacher's Day on the 15th of October, India celebrates it on the 5th of September, which is also the birthday of the famous teacher, academic philosopher and the second President of India, Mr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishan.

About Dr. S Radhakrishnan

Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was born in the year 1888 in a well-known religious state in Chennai, then called Madras. He was the second son of Veera Samayya, a tehsildar in a zamindari. It was a middle-class, respectable Hindu Brahmin family.

He graduated with a Master's Degree in Arts from Madras University. In partial fulfillment for his M.A. degree, Radhakrishnan wrote a thesis on the ethics of the Vedanta titled "The Ethics of the Vedanta and Its Metaphysical Presuppositions", which was a reply to the charge that the Vedanta system had no room for ethics.

The Origin of Teacher's Day
Since 1962, 5th of September has been celebrated as Teacher's Day in India. Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakhrishnan was a philosopher and a teacher par excellence. Some of his students and friends approached him and requested him to allow them to celebrate his birthday. In reply, Dr, Radhakrishnan said, "Instead of celebrating my birthday separately, it would be my proud privilege if September 5th is observed as Teacher's day". The request showed Dr.Radhakrishnan's love for the teaching profession. From then onwards, his birthday is observed as Teacher's Day in India.

What did he Do
He showed how western philosophers, despite all claims to objectivity, were biased by theological influences from their wider culture. In one of his major works he also showed that Indian philosophy, once translated into standard academic jargon, is worthy of being called philosophy by western standards. His main contribution to Indian thought, therefore, is that he placed it "on the map", thereby earning Indian philosophy a respect that it had not had before.

Dr. Radhakrishnan was of the opinion that only the right kind of education could solve many ills of the society and the country. He wanted to bring in a change in the educational system by improving the quality of education and building up a strong relationship between the teacher and the taught. In his opinion, teachers should be the best minds of the country; they should not merely instruct but should gain the true affection of pupils, and the respect for teachers cannot be ordered but it should be earned.

After 1946, his philosophical career was cut short when his country needed him as ambassador to UNESCO and later to Moscow. He was later to become the first Vice-President and finally the President (1962-1967) of India. He was awarded the Bharat Ratna in 1954. The University of Oxford instituted the Radhakrishnan Chevening Scholarships and the Radhakrishnan Memorial Award in his memory. He also received the Peace Prize of the German Book Trade in 1961.

Even as the president Sarvepalli remained a humble man. It was an open house at the Rashtrapati Bhavan and people from all sections of society were welcome to meet him. In addition he accepted only Rs. 2,500 out of his salary of Rs. 10,000 and donated the remaining amount to the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund every month. He remained a teacher in many ways and even adopted the authoritative tone of a headmaster in many of his letters to his ministers. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan passed away on April 17, 1975

Pancharangi - Pancharangi (2010) Kannada Movie Reviews

Producer: Yogaraj Bhat

Director: Yogaraj Bhat

Cast: Diganth, Nidhi Subbaiah, Priyanka Trivedi, Ananth Nag, Raju Talikote, Pavan Kumar, Sunder Raj, Padmaja Rao, Sudha Belawadi, Ramya Barna

About THe Movie:

Pancharangi is a humourous love story.
The highlight of the film are Diganth’s humourous acting, Nidhi Subbaiah’s facial expressions, Raju Talikote’s comedy timing, Mano Murthy’s music, Yogarj Bhat’s dialogues and screenplay, Mayuri Upadhyaya’s choreography, V Thyagarajan’s camera work, beautiful locations of coastal area so on and so forth.
It has lots plus points to talk about, but has very less to dwell on demerits.

The film has very simple storyline, but with his gripping narration, director Yogarj Bhat throws light on various aspects of life such as parents, friends, goals, success, failure, love, marriage, kids. It is all about a lazy boy’s lazy love story. Along with his parents he goes to see a girl for his brother. But the girl’s cousin falls to his humourous nature.

A special mention should be made about the dialogues. They are the first hero of the film. Although they are very witty and humourous, every single dialogue deals with philosophy of life. They are meaning full and have lot of punch in them.

They engage the audience’s mind in such a way that they will not understand how the first half gets over. In the second half, romantic scenes between Diganth and Nidhi linger the audience’s mind.

The story revolves around a lazy boy (Diganth). He is doing his post graduation in philosophy. Lonce with his parents (Sundar Raj and Sudha Belawadi), he goes to see a girl (Ramya Barna) for his brother (Pavan Kumar), who is a software professional in US. Panchakshari, a marriage broker (Raju Talikote), mediates both the families.

While his parents are a busy with seeing the girl, this wayward guy meets girl’s cousin Ambika (Nidhi Subbaiah), who is a naughty and tomboyish kind of a girl. Seeing his humourous nature, she falls in love with him. Whether they will unite or not will form the climax of the movie.

Diganth appears totally in a new and different get up. He has shown lot of maturity in his performance. Although one can see a shred of Jaggesh/Ganesh’s acting, his acting has lot of originality and individuality. His strange mannerism and natural dialogue delivery are the highlights of the show.

Actress Nidhi Subbaiah has also done magic through her acting. She has lot of scope in the film and she has used it to prove her mettle. Through her facial expressions, she surely wins the heart of pranksters. Raju Talikote’s performance is another highlight of the show. With his north Karnataka dialect, he rocks the show. Other artistes have also delivered wonderful acting.

The film is full of rich production values. Main highlight is Mano Murthy’s music. Two of his compositions like title track ‘Are Re Pancharangi…’ and ‘Udisuve…’ are really melodious. V Thyagarajan’s camera work has also added colour to the show. Especially in the songs, he has captured the coastal area in a beautiful way. Mayuri Upadhyaya’s choreography, costume and art directions are commendable.

The title Pancharangi means five colours and the director has made it clear at the beginning of the film that these five colours represent 5 aspects of life.

The film is not out of loopholes, but they are ignorable. Although the film is totally an original creation, it might remind the audience of Bollywood Blockbuster movie Hum Aap Ke Hai Kaun. Overall, it is a complete family entertainer and It is another trendsetter movie from Yogaraj Bhat. Audience will not get enough of it just watching it once.
